There are various reasons for the World Federation of Free Zones to ask for sponsorship as a means of financing our activities.
First of all, because we are a non-governmental organization on a non-profit basis and since our objective is to give technical and social support to maintain and develop free zones, we need the support of patronage.
If the institution had to be sustained mainly by the rights of membership of their associates, it would impair the achievement of our social objectives.
If a part of the economy of the Institution is based on sponsorship, that will make a policy
which will favour and benefit both parties. As the search for sponsors is developed in the specific and concrete areas of economic activities, this gives the chance to the sponsors to offer the Free Zones technical service and new technology which are necessary for their development.
Furthermore, being a sponsor gives you the option and the right to obtain in some countries a tax deduction on the contributions given to Femoza, as this is considered to be a donation for social purposes and humanitarian assistance.
After this conceptual introduction on sponsorship and patronage, we will define the specific conditions, benefits and advantages we are offering to each sponsor.

· Infrastructures & Construction
· Logistics
· Control and certification
· Environment
· Finances
· Insurance companies
Although other options may be considered.
TYPES OF SPONSORS
· Main Sponsor
-their contractual link will initially last two years and will be based on the status of exclusiveness among their economic area.
· Co - Sponsor
-they will take part without the status of exclusiveness in events or programmes organized by the federation.
Other contractual conditions will be taken into consideration and stated on the agreements reached between both parties.
