H.E. Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem
As he told to Fortune Magazine in 2008, his future career was set when a man mistakenly came into his office one day and in the course of chatting suggested that Dubai could serve as an entrepot for the tea trade if it created a tax-free zone at the port.
Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem served as the first chairman of the Dubai government's tax-free Jebel Ali Free Zone, in 1.985, when the zone was founded, he developed Jafza, a remarkable network of nearly 6000 companies from 120 countries, paving the way for industrial development in the Middle East., today JAFZA is probably one of the most important Free Zones of the World, Since the 1980s, Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem has been one of the most prominent businessmen in Dubai |

The General Assembly decided to create a Gallery of Honour with the following objectives. To appoint with, an individual and honorific title, to most high Dignities for their professional, social and human devotion to Free Zones.
Which projects reached special relevance in the economy of their Countries, creating jobs, increasing the economy and offer people welfare, or linked to free zones through other economic sectors as industry, commerce, educational or communication. Because the high level of the Gallery, new members can be only accepted by unanimously FEMOZA’s
Executive Committee decision.
They will also be able to use the communication facilities to express their thoughts and ideas, which may assist the development of Free Zones.
All Members will be provided with such official certification which will accredit them as Members of the
FEMOZA’s GALLERY OF HONOUR.
New members proposals can to be send to:

Although this Committee will not have an established agenda, its Members will be informed of the activities of the Federation, they will be invited to participate, if they so wish, in all the events and programmes that Femoza organizes. They will also be able to use the communication facilities to express their thoughts and ideas, which may assist the development of Free Zones. They will also be an institutional linkage tool between Femoza and the free zones of the world.
